Sony Mobile has introduced the Xperia Z3+ (E6553) and Xperia Z3+ Dual-SIM (E6533). The new Xperia Z3+ is the same model known in Japan as the Xperia Z4. The Z3 Plus has a sleek rounded aluminium frame, durable tempered glass panels and a uniquely designed power button. It measures 146 x 72 x 7 mm and weighs 144 grams.
In terms of specification, the Xperia Z3+ has a 5.2 inch Full HD 1920×1080 pixels display with an anti-fingerprint coating, 2.0GHz / 1.5 GHz Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 Octa Core 64-bit processor combined with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage with microSD option for storage expansion up to 128GB. It has a stunning 20.7 Megapixel Exmor RS rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and 8x Digital zoom promises to shot crisp photos and 4K videos. The front-facing 5.1 Megapixel Exmor R camera has a 25mm wide-angle lens and is capable of shooting Full HD 1080p videos.
The Sony Xperia Z3+ has IP65/IP68 certification, which makes this smartphone both waterproof and dust proof. It can handle a dip in the sink. In fact, if it gets dirty you can simply rinse it off under the tap. And with the capless USB port you can splash away without worrying about having to close it. The company also specifies that the Z3 Plus can be submerged in 1.5m (4.92ft) of fresh water for up to 30 minutes.
The device runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and is 4G/LTE enabled and comes with all modern sensors and connectivity you need including; Bluetooth v4.1, DLNA, Micro USB, NFC, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Hotspot. Also, it is packed with the following sensors: Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Barometer sensor, eCompass, Game rotation vector, Geomagnetic rotation vector, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, Step counter, Step detector, Significant motion detector and Proximity sensor. The 2930 mAh battery delivers power for up to two days without worrying about having to re-charge the device too frequent. The Xperia Z3+ (E6553) is a Single-SIM, whereas the Xperia Z3+ (E6533) is a Dual-SIM, and both support Nano SIMs.
